Gnocchi in tomato cream sauce

Gnocchi in tomato cream sauce

Warming, rich and delicious!


2 tsp olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, diced
500g crushed or diced tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
500g gnocchi
2 tbsp pure cream
1 tsp garlic infused kelp
sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
fresh basil or parsley
grated parmesan cheese for serving


1. Add the olive oil and diced garlic to a large skillet pan

2. Cook for a minute and keep stirring

3. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and mixed herbs to the pan

4. Cook for about 5 minutes over low-medium heat

5. Stir in the gnocchi. Let it cook for another 5 minutes, stirring often so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan

6. Add a bit of water if needed

7. Once the sauce has thickened and gnocchi are cooked, add pure cream and cook for another minute

8. Add garlic infused kelp and season with salt and pepper

9. Stir and serve immediately with some grated parmesan cheese and decorate with basil or parsley leaves
