Almond and Coconut Banana Bread

Almond and coconut banana bread

A healthy treat, good for your gut!


3 eggs
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla paste
1 cup almond flour
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp mbK pure kelp
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
almond flakes and shredded coconut, optional


1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius (350 farenheit). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

2. In a mixing bowl add all wet ingredients; eggs, banana, honey and vanilla paste

3. Add in dry ingredients; almond flour, coconut flour, desiccated coconut, cinnamon, mbK pure kelp, bakinbg soda, baking powder and salt

4. Pour batter into already prepared loaf tin

5. Sprinkle the top with some sliced almonds, coconut flakes and pure kelp

6. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the centre comes out dry. Let it cool for 30 minutes before serving
